Urogynecology, also known as Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS) is a subspecialty of obstetrics and gynecology focused on the function and dysfunction of the structures and systems of the female pelvis (for example, urinary incontinence or pelvic organ prolapse).

When you are seen at WHCMA Center for Pelvic Medicine, Dr. Illanes may recommend additional testing depending upon your particular symptom(s).   Urodynamic evaluations and cystoscopies are performed on-site.

Treatments available for incontinence, prolapse and other pelvic floor disorders include:
